Reasons Your Iphone May fail to Connect To The Internet

In some occasion, you may encounter rare cases and issues sending or receiving messages, photos, or videos, and unable to connect to the internet. This may probably be as a result of your phones internet connection, or a problem with your wireless carrier or Internet service provider.

Most connections issues can be resolved by adhereing to the following:

If you use an unlocked iPhone or a pre-paid SIM card, then you may need to adjust your phones APN settings for your SIM card. Please you can make use of this blogs search bar and search this blog for previous posts I have rendered on this.

    Play with your photographs Photofunia

After a long break I am back with a tutorial, this tutorial is about spicing up your photographs in a number of ways. Recently I have gone through a website called, it performs as its name
says, yes it generates our photograph in a funny sense. But with the choice of appropriate effects it could even generate photographs that are so realistic that cant be guessed as an edited one. has more than one hundred various effects, each gives unique realistic textures to the images. It keeps the process in such a way that everyone can take the taste of it. Inspite of mess up processes it allows an user to perform all the editing in only two or three steps. So its very easy to use.

Just visit the website and select any one of the effects from the bunch of effects that are available right there. After that browse a photograph from your system and upload that out. After that click on go button to generate the process which will produce an image with that selected effect.

You can also download the photofunia application for your mobile devices. The download link is available on their website. One can also generate different types of cards there. You will be much clear after visiting the website. So do visit the website and keep spicing up your photographs. Thanks

Will the absence of carrier support doom the HTC One

In the news lately is the departure of several high level executives from HTC. It seems to highlight a problem with HTC. Last year, when HTC released its flagship One X, none of the countries three mobile carriers offered the HTC One X upon release. The two largest carriers, Smart Communications and Globe Telecom carried the Samsung Galaxy S III and later the iPhone 5 from the local release date. The third carrier, Sun Cellular would carry the Samsung Galaxy S III a few months after release. The HTC One X. Smart Communications eventually offered the HTC One X as part of its line-up several months after its release.

These year, it is a repeat of last years story. The countries two largest carriers, Smart Communications and Globe Telecom offered the Samsung Galaxy S4 for pre-order. Both held special activities on the Samsung Galaxy S4 launch date. In the month since it release, 10 million Galaxy S4 phones have been shipped, with a small fraction of that success being due to support from Smart Communications and Globe Telecom.

The HTC One? Well, it is reportedly coming to Globe Telecom something in the future.

Without local carrier support, the HTC One will not get the elite status needed to make it a success. If you look at the billboards on the streets, you see giant advertisements for the Apple iPhone 5, the BlackBerry Z10 and the Samsung Galaxy S4. The HTC One. Except for the hardcore HTC fan or techie, I dont think the regular consumer is aware of this phone.

In terms of status, only two brands are mentioned these days. To be cool, you need to have an iPhone or a Samsung. BlackBerry caters to a small niche market, but ownership comes with the respect that you a serious user. HTC has fallen a long way since the heady days of the HTC Wildfire, Desire and Desire HD. Back than owning an HTC was cool. Now owning a HTC One will be like a certificate of geekdom.

I know a fair number of people eagerly awaiting the HTC One. HTC still makes great hardware. But without carrier support, it will loose a fair amount of sales. More disastrous, is that  it hits the market quietly. Worse, HTC did not tap much of the local bloggers to cover its launch. A few bloggers got an early hands on last April, and a few were invited to HTC launch event two days ago. But really this is quiet launch with what looks to be a make or break phone for HTC.

HTC needs to learn, that it can no longer be Quietly Brilliant.

If you have read the article all the way here, take the time to give the HTC One a look. It is a very nice phone.

The Chinas ZTE launches Firefox phones in US Britain

Chinas ZTE launches Firefox phones in US, Britain

WASHINGTON — Chinese telecom giant ZTE announced plans Monday to sell a low-cost smartphone using the open source Firefox operating system in the United States and Britain.

ZTE said its Open Firefox OS phone will be sold through eBay in the US for $79.99 and 59.99 pounds in Britain.

The phone, unlocked to allow use on a variety of mobile networks, uses the open source Firefox operating platform from the nonprofit Mozilla Foundation, which is aiming to break the dominance of Googles Android and Apples iOS.

"The global availability of the ZTE Open through eBay means that more consumers worldwide are now able, for the first time, to buy an affordable smartphone based entirely on open Web standards," the Chinese firm said in a statement.

"The ZTE Open is powered by Firefox OS, which frees developers, operators and consumers from the constraints of existing closed ecosystems by using the Web as the platform for all functionality and applications."

The statement said sales would begin "soon," without elaborating.
ZTE vice president Dai Wenhong said the company "is devoted to providing more options for customers globally and enabling them to live better lives via advanced technology.

The ZTE Open offers customers a smartphone experience at an incredible price point, making it ideal for cost conscious consumers or those looking to upgrade to a smartphone for the first time."

The phone offered for US and British consumers is orange in color, while a blue version has been on sale in Spain and Venezuela and a black version in Colombia.

In June, Taiwans Hon Hai Precision said it aims to hire up to 3,000 new employees to develop devices and software for Mozillas Firefox operating system.

Hon Hai, better known by its trade name Foxconn and a major supplier to Apple, plans to produce five devices running on Firefox.

The Firefox operating system uses applications on HTML5, a Web standard which operates across platforms, unlike those developed for specific systems such a Apples iOS or Google Android.

Viber Now Has 100 Million Users

VIber, the Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and instant messaging app for Android, BlackBerry, iOS and Windows Phone has broken the 100 million user barrier. Not bad at all, and pretty amazing considering the service has been around for less than two years. Now Viber is going to Symbian S40 feature phones as well as Bada OS too, which will expand it reach further. Right now, 1 in 7 of my contacts is on Viber.

Viber main rival in this arena is Skype. Vibers main advantage over Skype, even other instant messaging apps is that Viber was designed around the smartphone, while its competition started out on the the PC.

VoIP and instant messaging apps rely on a dedicated user name or your email address. Viber being designed around the mobile phone uses your phone number as you user ID. Instead of having to manually add contacts to Viber, Viber scans your address book and finds all your contacts who are already on Viber.

Viber also has a small footprint. Unlike most VoIP or instant messaging apps that drain your battery life, VIber sits in your memory as a cached process. Meaning it is stored in the RAM and not running. When a push notification comes for a message or a call, Viber starts up quickly. In my experience, there is no discernible difference using Viber leaving turned on or off.

And yes, you can turn it off, in the Android version. Even if you turn if off, it will start up push notification comes for a message or a call, though a fair bit slower.

It is an amazing app. You should give it a try.

An image of the Nokia Lumia 820 has been leaked by Twitter user evleaks. The 820 apparently has a 4.3-inch display, and if you squint youll make out "Carl Zeiss" on the camera lens, but not much more is known at this point. Nokia has a press event on September 5th where were expecting it to unveil the Lumia 820 alongside the just-leaked flagship, the Lumia 920 with PureView
