How to Turn Off In app Purchases on Your iPad

If you share your iPad with other members of the family, especially your kids, then chances are that they may have at some point in time clicked on the in-app purchases in some of your installed apps. If you want to prevent them from inadvertently making a purchase by mistake, then read on.

To disable in-app purchases, follow the steps below.

Open the Settings page
Tap General
Tap Restrictions

Turn of Restrictions on the iPad

Tap Enable Restrictions
Set the Passcode and re-enter again for confirmation. You will need to enter this Passcode every time you want to modify the restrictions.

You should see the Restrictions page which you can configure different parental controls
Swipe up until you see In-app Purchases

Tap or slide to your right to turn it on
